Brad Will is an inspiration to me and people in the world seeking peace and justice. He reminds me of the brave souls of the Lincoln Brigade who traveled to a dangerous place and time to help the people against tyranny.

I didn't know Brad personally, but his bravery and determination have inspired me to stand up for what's left that's right in the world. His story has given me the will to shape meaning to my life by standing up for others.
Long Live the Legacy of Brad Will.

I was born in cape cod hospital in hyannis, massachusetts in 1951.When I turned 20 I was drafted in to the u.s. army and sent to vietnam. I feel so bad for will...when I returned from the war I was very disheartened and became quite active in "vietnam veterans against the war". One has to remember that, while I was a free man in america, and able and willing to fight for what I believed was right, had I gone to a ' third world country' such as mexico, that is not quite run with the democratic principles in the u.s.a., I would not have had the opportunity to 'speak out' as freely as in the u.s.., so I realize that in a third world country things are different, and if I had gone there to protest, I could have been killed, or on the other hand, I could still have been rotting in a mexican jail.

Traveled 1,000+ miles to work in Perry County, Ohio for the Obama Campaign.Came down to Athens to celebrate Halloween(quite different from Day of the Dead)and are being hosted by Will's cousin,Susan Mitchell.Had heard about Will when he was killed. Now that we have met his wonderful warm and generous cousin;I have learned that this case is not closed as main stream media would like us to believe.Peace.
